HICP inflation in the eurozone amounted to 2.2% y/y in July
HICP inflation in the euro area was 2.2 percent y/y in July 2021 from 1.9 percent y/y a month earlier, the EU statistical office Eurostat reported, presenting the final data.
The market consensus was 2.2 percent y/y.
In the entire EU, inflation amounted to in July this year to 2.5 percent y/y versus 2.2 percent a month earlier.
