HICP inflation up to 15.2% y/y in March - Eurostat

The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) inflation in Poland stood at 15.2% y/y in March 2023, compared to 17.2% y/y in the previous month, according to Eurostat. On a monthly basis, the indicator increased by 1.1%. The lowest annual rates were recorded in Luxembourg (2.9%), Spain (3.1%) and the Netherlands (4.5%). The highest annual rates were observed in Hungary (25.6%), Latvia (17.2%) and the Czech Republic (16.5%). In comparison to February, annual inflation decreased in twenty-five EU member states and increased in two. The HICP inflation for the entire EU was 8.3% y/y in March.
