Homag Poland recruits engineers for new factory in Środa Wielkopolska

German machinery manufacturer Homag is investing €54 million to build a major industrial complex in Środa Wielkopolska, Poland. The new 55,000 m² facility—housing production, warehousing, offices, and a 2,000 m² competence center—will consolidate operations previously spread across six sites. Built largely with CLT (cross-laminated timber), it will be the largest structure of its kind in Poland. Homag Polska, part of the Frankfurt-listed Homag Group (30% global market share in woodworking machinery), will now oversee the entire lifecycle of its products, marking a strategic shift from subcontracting to full-cycle management.
The expansion, expected to be completed in June 2026, will create new jobs for engineers and technicians in the growing Polish operation.
