GDAŃSK — Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie S.A. is expanding its AMBEREXPO exhibition and congress complex with the addition of the ibis Styles Gdańsk AmberExpo, scheduled to open on November 3, 2026. The new 168-room hotel will be directly connected to the exhibition center, strengthening Gdańsk's position as one of Poland's leading destinations for trade fairs, congresses and business events.

Designed by architectural studio Tremend, the hotel will feature interiors inspired by the underwater landscape of the Baltic Sea. The property will be managed by Katarzyna Gudalewicz, a hospitality executive with nearly three decades of industry experience.

The project represents the latest phase in the development of AMBEREXPO, one of northern Poland's largest exhibition and convention venues. The complex offers more than 16,000 square meters of exhibition space, a modern conference center, and a location adjacent to Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk, allowing it to host trade fairs, conferences, concerts, sporting events, festivals, and film productions.

Officials say the hotel addresses growing demand for on-site accommodation as Gdańsk continues to attract larger international meetings and business events. By integrating lodging with the exhibition complex, organizers expect to improve convenience for exhibitors, conference delegates, and corporate travelers while increasing the competitiveness of the venue.

The investment was officially presented during Amber Experience, an event organized by Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie S.A. for media representatives and influencers. During the presentation, company President Andrzej Bojanowski outlined the organization's long-term vision for AMBEREXPO, positioning the complex as a destination that combines business, culture and tourism while supporting Gdańsk's continued growth as an international meetings hub.
