ICEYE opens headquarters in Warsaw
ICEYE opened its Satellite Technology Center in Warsaw, expanding its Polish research, development, production and satellite-testing capacity. The company plans to invest more than PLN 120 mln in Poland from 2026 through 2028, including upgraded laboratories, a larger Satellite Operations Center and, later, a controlled-environment facility for satellite assembly, integration and testing. Government officials described space capabilities as essential to national security, citing the need for sovereign satellite communications and Earth-observation systems.
ICEYE already works with the Military University of Technology and recently signed an agreement with PGZ on a military satellite communications system. The Polish-Finnish company operates globally and employs more than 1,000 people across its international locations.
