In 2025 CSIRT GOV received 23,126 cyber threat reports
Poland continues to face growing cyberthreats from state-linked groups, hacktivists and financially motivated criminals. In 2025, CSIRT GOV received 23,126 cybersecurity reports involving public administration and critical infrastructure, of which 5,033 were classified as incidents. The most common problems involved system vulnerabilities, social engineering and exposed login credentials. Phishing campaigns increasingly use fake QR codes, messaging apps and AI-themed tools to steal data or gain access to systems.
CSIRT GOV also recorded nearly 2.3 bln security events through its ARAKIS-GOV monitoring system, generating more than 5.5 mln alerts. Officials warn that outdated software, poor configuration, weak passwords and inadequate network segmentation remain among the most serious and preventable security weaknesses.
