Industrial output fell by 2.7% y/y in June

Polish industrial output fell by 2.7 percent y/y in June, Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Thursday. The decrease in output was recorded in 20 industries, with the strongest decline for production of clothing (13.5 percent) and metals (11.1 percent).

Still, for 24 percent of industries the output rose. The highest growth was noted in the production of transport equipment, beverages, and consumer electronics.
