Industrial production falls by 1.3% y/y in August – GUS

Industrial production fell by 1.3 percent y/y in August 2019, while compared to the previous month fell by 6.0 percent, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported.
Analysts surveyed by PAP Biznes expected production growth in August by 1.9 percent on annual basis and drop by 2.8 percent on a monthly basis.
Industrial production prices increased by 0.7 percent y/y and 0,2 percent in monthly terms in August 2019, the GUS also provided.
