Industrial production in January up by 6.1% – GUS
“Industrial production in January 2019 increased by 6.1 percent y/y, and 7.4 percent compared to the previous month,” statistical office GUS stated.
Industrial production in January grew y/y in 26 out of 34 industries, the largest increase was recorded in the production of electrical equipment – of 17.3 percent and drinks – by 17.2 percent. The decay of sold production of industry, compared to January 2018, took place primarily in the mining industry. Prices of industrial production in January 2019 increased by 2.2 percent y/y and 0.2 percent in monthly terms.
