Industrial production in Poland, adjusted for working days, increased in March by 16.3 percent y/y, after an increase of 4.0 percent y/y a month earlier, Eurostat reported. At the same time, seasonally-adjusted industrial production in the euro area increased by 10.9 percent in the euro area and by 11% in the EU as a whole in annual terms. In turn, in monthly terms, production increased by 0.1 percent in March. In the EU as a whole, production increased by 0.6 percent on this basis.
Market consensus was a 0.6 percent m/m increase for the eurozone.
