Industrial production up in February

There is no doubt that the coronavirus will have a strong impact on the Polish economy, but the latest figures from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) do not yet show it. What’s more, they surprise positively. In February, industrial production was 4.9 percent higher than a year ago, and this means strong acceleration.
In addition, an increase in sold production was recorded in 28 out of 34 industries (in annual terms) in February 2020, GUS stated.
