Invest Europe: FDI accounted for 39% of total investment in CEE

Private equity and venture capital funds invested €994 mln in Polish companies in 2025, accounting for 39% of total investment value in Central and Eastern Europe, according to Invest Europe. Funding went to 100 Polish firms, up from 83 a year earlier. Venture capital investment more than tripled to a record €310 mln, representing 46% of all VC investment in the region, while growth capital nearly doubled to €287 mln. Although total investment value declined due to fewer large buyout deals, more companies received funding.

PSIK said Poland needs greater private capital mobilization to support innovation, international expansion, job creation, and long-term business growth.
