IT tender for school equipment under investigation by prosecutor’s office
A major dispute has erupted in Poland’s largest public IT tender, worth PLN 1.86 billion, for equipping schools with AI labs. NASK and the Ministry of Digital Affairs reported bidder Galaxy to prosecutors over suspected use of non-authentic certificates. The investigation concerns possible document falsification in the procurement process.
Galaxy denies wrongdoing, calling the allegations unfounded and considering legal action, suggesting unfair competition. Its offer was previously rejected due to missing required certifications.
The conflict is delaying the tender, which must be completed within six months under the National Recovery Plan. With appeals ongoing and procedures still unfinished, there is growing risk of delays and potential loss of funding.
