Chinese shopping intermediary KakoBuy is emerging as a new challenger in Poland’s fast-growing e-commerce market, targeting millions of shoppers already using platforms such as Temu, Shein, and AliExpress. Unlike traditional marketplaces, KakoBuy acts as a purchasing agent, allowing customers to buy from major Chinese platforms unavailable internationally, including Taobao, JD.com, Tmall, and Weidian.

It manages the full process from ordering and quality control to customs clearance. The platform also offers image-based product searches, enabling users to upload photos to find similar goods across Chinese sites. Rather than relying on paid advertising, KakoBuy has grown through social media, Reddit, Discord, and YouTube recommendations. According to Similarweb, the site attracted 5.8 million visits in March 2026, with Poland generating 41.2 percent of total traffic—its largest market globally.
