Klif shopping center faces redevelopment

Warsaw’s Klif shopping center, located in the Wola district, may soon be replaced by a large residential estate. The property’s owner, AEW Asset Management, has submitted initial plans to construct over 1,000 apartments in nine buildings, ranging from eight to 18 storeys. The project, spanning 10 years, would begin with the demolition of the Klif shopping center and neighboring office tower. Despite tenant interest, the center has struggled due to its location and competition from nearby Westfield Arkadia. Klif’s future remains uncertain as rising land values drive interest in redevelopment for housing projects.
