Labor costs in Poland in Q2 up by 5.5% y/y: Eurostat

Nominal hourly labor costs in the second quarter in Poland increased by 5.5 percent on annual basis, after an increase of 9.0 percent.y/y in the first quarter of 2020, Eurostat reported. Wages increased by 5.5 percent and other wage components increased by 5.4 percent..

In industry, labor costs increased by 5.8 percent after an increase of 8.3 percent, in construction – by 0.3 percent after an increase by 7.9 percent, and in services they went up by 5.2 percent after an increase of 9.0 percent.
