HP Poland managing director Andrzej Sowiński expects laptop demand to dip slightly in 2027 as higher prices make quality computers less affordable. He says businesses may buy more selectively but will continue to need computers. RAM and SSD prices may rise by low single digits as manufacturers prioritize supplies for AI data centers. He does not expect increases to match the sharp rises seen early in 2026. New production capacity could help stabilize prices toward the end of 2027. Sowiński also sees growing demand for computers with AI chips.

He expects companies to combine cloud and local AI processing to balance costs and data security, while demand for audio and video tools for hybrid work continues to grow.
