Korean LG group will invest over PLN 320 million in the Wrocław agglomeration, the official website of Wrocław has announced. In 2020, two investment stages are planned to be completed: the first for PLN 120 million and the second for PLN 200 million. LG Electronics Wrocław will manufacture safety separators that are used in lithium-ion batteries used, among others, in electric cars. The first product deliveries to customers are scheduled for February 2020.
“The planned expenditure on creating one workplace will exceed PLN 2 million. In total, we will employ 150 highly qualified specialists,” Sebastian Stadnik, LG Electronics managing director, said.
