A well-designed and attractive workplace cannot replace effective leadership, knowledge sharing, good cooperation, and open organizational culture. However, it can create conditions that will foster them, claim the authors of a report titled “Better than at home. How to ensure a comfortable and creative work environment.”
The report was based on an analysis of trends and the latest research on the working environment, as well as nearly 200 good practices of employers from Poland and the world. Well.hr experts argue that changes implemented in the office can translate into higher efficiency at work.
“Moving or refurbishing an office can be an opportunity to introduce new management concepts, new business processes or improve team communication,” said Joanna Kotzian from Well.hr.
The workplace shapes the culture of the organization – its location, architecture, and aesthetics have an impact on the values and behavior of employees. By properly arranging office space, we can create conditions for creative and effective work, as well as influence employee behavior.
