Der Elefant has been recognized by guests from all over the world and received the 2020 Travelers' Choice Award from Tripadvisor.

Travelers' Choice (formerly the Certificate of Quality) is a distinction for companies that constantly gain great user reviews. Only around 10 percent of businesses on the Tripadvisor platform receive a Travelers' Choice award that honors their choice of accommodations, attractions and restaurants.

When selecting for an award, Tripadvisor uses an algorithm that takes into account the quality, number and timeliness of reviews and opinions submitted by travelers on Tripadvisor over a 12-month period, as well as the company's seniority and ranking in the site's popularity index.

“We have been selected for this prestigious award from among thousands of restaurants. We would like to thank our extraordinary guests, because without them it would not be possible. At the same time, we assure you that we will do everything to make our food and service even better than before. I thank the staff of Der Elefant for providing excellent services. It is thanks to your daily work and the sense of responsibility that our guests feel comfortable and safe, which has recently been of great importance,” Artur Jarczyński, owner of the Der Elefant restaurant, said.

Der Elefant Restaurant has been operating in a modernized, historic tenement house at 1 Bankowy Square since 1990. Its spacious and multi-level interior resembles the atmosphere of New York, and the courtyard of the townhouse, where the entrance to the restaurant is located, was designed by the Oscar-winning production designer Allan Starski.
