Journalist and interior designer Dorota Szelągowska admits that the pandemic did not thwart her professional plans. Programs with her participation are constantly implemented, and she can work. The decorator was actually constantly working during the last year. She spent a few-month break from professional activity, which took place at the beginning of the pandemic, at her home in Warmia. She used her free time productively.
"I have this privilege and I am very lucky to be working all the time despite the pandemic. I did spend the first three months of the lockdown last year at home. I have to admit that I used to go wild in the garden. But for me, this time is not much different than before the pandemic. We record all the time. We work in more difficult conditions, but I dare not complain," Dorota Szelągowska admitted.
The decorator points out that the pandemic has changed her approach to work. Even though she has always loved what she does, she now appreciates the possibility of becoming professionally fulfilling much more.
"The pandemic showed us that work is a privilege, and so is learning. When they taught me about it at school, I didn't know what they were talking about. It was a privilege to play truant. Now everything looks different," she explained.
