Local governments to receive PLN 10 billion
Finance Minister Andrzej Domański announced that local governments will receive PLN 10 billion this year to address financial challenges, particularly those exacerbated by the Polish Deal. This funding is part of a broader support package, totaling PLN 17 billion, which includes development subsidies, additional funds for kindergartens, and pay rises for social workers.
Domański emphasized the importance of strong local government finances for effective investment and recovery. The announced support matches the amount requested by local government representatives for a positive review of the local government revenue reform draft.
