ódź is consolidating its role as a leading industrial and logistics hub in Central Europe, according to the Łódź 2025. Industry | Innovation | Infrastructure report by Savills Polska and Invest in Łódź. Strategically located in Poland’s “Golden Triangle” of Wrocław, Warsaw, and Poznań, the region accounts for nearly half of the nation’s GDP and benefits from strong infrastructure and skilled labour.

The warehouse market has expanded rapidly, reaching nearly 5 million sqm, with record annual demand of 1 million sqm in 2024. Vacancy rates are down to 8.9 pct, with 48 pct of new projects pre-leased and 71 pct already committed in mid-2025. Global players including Amazon, Zalando, DHL, Inditex, and Rossmann operate here, supported by the Łódź Special Economic Zone, which has attracted PLN 34.5 bln in investment and created 33,800 jobs. Universities further supply 17,300 skilled graduates annually, reinforcing the region’s competitive edge.
