Łódź Strengthens Role as Europe’s Emerging Industrial and Logistics Hub

Łódź is cementing its position as one of Europe’s key industrial and logistics hubs, according to the report “Łódź 2025. Industry | Innovation | Infrastructure”, prepared by Savills Poland with Invest in Łódź. Located at the heart of the “Golden Triangle” (Warsaw–Łódź–Wrocław–Poznań), the city combines modern infrastructure with access to skilled specialists. The macroregion generates 47 percent of Poland’s GDP and is set to become a growth engine for Central and Eastern Europe.
Łódź’s central location makes it a natural transport crossroads. It is a major stop on the China–Europe Railway Express, handling over 3,300 trains annually, ensuring rapid goods flow between Asia and Europe. Planned High–Speed Rail under the Central Transport Hub project will further strengthen its role, reducing travel to Warsaw to 45 minutes and linking the city with the future CPK airport in just 30 minutes.
“Łódź has worked for years to become the most important logistics hub and a key intersection of global supply chains. Investments here guarantee faster deliveries, better cost management, and wide-scale client service,” Michał Chodecki, Director, Head of Industrial, Savills, said.
