LPP Logistics launches e-commerce warehouse in Romania
LPP Logistics has opened a new 65,000 m² e-commerce warehouse near Bucharest, boosting its capacity to over 80,000 orders per day. The facility, equipped with 766 autonomous robots and 630,000 automated storage locations, can hold up to 7.5 million clothing and accessory items. It serves multiple markets, including Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece and Hungary. The accelerated launch followed a fire in another Romanian warehouse in June, helping the company quickly restore logistics operations in the region.
LPP says the new center supports its long-term expansion in online sales, and its logistics investments next year may reach PLN 1 billion.
