Manufacturing leads Poland’s AI investment outlook
Manufacturing topped EFL’s AI Barometer for H2 2026, with 76% of surveyed firms planning increased AI investment and 91% expecting higher sales from implementation. The sector’s index rose 20.6 points to 80.2, ahead of retail and wholesale trade at 78.4 and creative industries and marketing at 75.1. Transport and logistics ranked last, with no respondents expecting increased AI investment or related sales growth. Finance and insurance also weakened. Healthcare reported the strongest hiring expectations, while 22% of creative and marketing firms anticipated job cuts following implementation.
The overall index increased four points to 64.8. The survey covered 455 Polish micro, small, and medium-sized businesses planning to use AI.
