According to the latest ranking by Rzetelna Firma and the National Debt Register (KRD), companies from the Mazowieckie region are the largest debtors in Poland. The total debts of enterprises listed in KRD amount to nearly PLN 10 billion. The highest average debt per 1,000 companies is in Mazowieckie (PLN 4,149,020), followed by Śląsk and Pomorze. Conversely, Podlaskie, Podkarpackie, and Małopolskie have the lowest average debts.
The highest proportion of debtors is found in Śląsk (10.25%), Kujawsko-Pomorskie (10.08%), and Dolnośląskie (9.78%). Only Kujawsko-Pomorskie saw a decrease in average debt in the first half of 2024. The data highlights the need for careful consideration when engaging with businesses from different regions.
