The supervisory board of mBank has conditionally appointed Cezary Kocik as the new president of the management board, pending approval from the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Kocik will succeed current president Cezary Stypułkowski, who will complete his term after the 2024 shareholder meeting. The Remuneration and Nomination Committee had recommended Kocik for the role in April, and the supervisory board accepted this recommendation. In March, mBank's supervisory board appointed seven members to its management board, including Stypułkowski for a term starting March 28, 2024. mBank, a leading Polish commercial bank and part of the WIG20 index, had total assets of PLN 226.98 billion at the end of 2023.
