MC: over 700 cybersecurity incidents identified over weekend

Over the weekend, Poland’s CSIRT NASK recorded 704 cybersecurity incidents—373 on Saturday and 331 on Sunday—out of 2,760 reported threats, according to the Ministry of Digitization (MC). These cases are currently under investigation. Additionally, CSIRT MON received 195 reports and identified three incidents linked to hacktivist groups.
CERT Polska, another cyber response team under NASK, flagged 652 malicious domains over the weekend that were involved in phishing and fraud. Poland's cybersecurity framework includes three national response teams: CSIRT NASK, CSIRT GOV, and CSIRT MON, each responsible for handling incidents within assigned sectors. CERT Polska has maintained a national warning list of dangerous websites since 2020.
