MC: PLN 350 mln to strengthen cybersecurity in government admin

On February 28, the Polish government will launch the "Cyberbezpieczny Rząd" (Cybersecure Government) program, allocating PLN 350 million to enhance cybersecurity in key state institutions. The initiative aims to modernize IT infrastructure, improve data protection, and provide advanced cybersecurity tools. Public administration entities, especially those handling large volumes of citizen data, will receive grants for hardware, software, and training.
The program focuses on three pillars: organizational standards, IT personnel training, and technological advancements. It is open to key institutions within Poland’s National Cybersecurity System, with applications accepted from February 28 to March 31, 2025. The government emphasizes that a secure digital infrastructure is essential for effective public administration and national security.
