Median price of used cars dropped by PLN 9,500 m/m
In July, the median price of used cars in Poland dropped by PLN 9,500 to PLN 31,400, with the number of available cars falling by nearly 3,000 to 248,950, according to an AAA Auto report. Despite increased car imports, the supply of used cars is decreasing due to the holiday season and more buyers opting for used cars over expensive new ones. However, there is a positive trend of decreasing median mileage and age of offered cars.
Key statistics for July 2024:
Fuel types offered: 45% petrol, 45.9% diesel, 4.4% LPG, 3.5% hybrid, and 1% electric. AAA Auto, part of Aures Holdings, operates 63 branches, including 14 in Poland, and sold 25,000 used cars in Poland in 2023.
