Jacek Szkólski, co-founder of Future Medical Lab (FML), plans to launch a medtech incubator focused on vision care. Drawing from experience in the optical industry, he aims to manufacture contact lenses in Poland and develop a smartphone app for initial eye screenings. FML already supplies products from Spain, Italy, and Korea, but plans to build a Polish factory to improve logistics and serve Central-Eastern Europe.

The company targets alternative sales channels, like drugstores, and sees potential in digital eye diagnostics. It also seeks to invest in medtech startups, especially in ophthalmology. The Polish contact lens market is growing rapidly but still lags behind Western Europe in high-value segments like multifocal and toric lenses.
