Mercator Estates invests in center of Krakow
Mercator Medical SA, a real estate company within the Mercator Medical Group, has purchased two historic buildings in Kraków for €11 million net. The plan is to develop high-end residential apartment complexes with commercial spaces in both properties.
Monika Żyznowska, CEO of Mercator Medical, stated that this acquisition aligns with their investment strategy in real estate projects expected to yield satisfactory returns. The purchase was made through Mercator Estates I, a subsidiary created in mid-2023 to leverage the group's financial surplus. Mercator Medical, established in 1989, specializes in manufacturing disposable gloves and distributing medical materials, with a strong international presence and production facilities in Thailand.
