MF: debt of the state treasury at the end of July was over PLN 1 trillion
According to preliminary estimates, Poland's national debt at the end of July 2024 amounted to approximately 1.4768 trillion PLN, reflecting an increase of 1.7 billion PLN or 0.1% compared to June, reported the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday.
The Ministry also stated that domestic debt at the end of July stood at 1.1436 trillion PLN, while debt in foreign currencies was about 333.2 billion PLN, representing 22.6% of the total national debt.
