MICE industry entering intense autumn with new congresses, congresses and forums
Poland’s MICE industry expects a strong autumn 2026 season, with hotels reporting heavy demand for conferences, congresses and business events through November. Poland ranked 18th globally and 11th in Europe in ICCA’s 2025 rankings, hosting 215 qualifying international association meetings, 24 more than a year earlier. Organizers now increasingly ask about specific Polish cities rather than requiring Poland to be introduced as a destination.
However, full calendars do not guarantee record attendance or revenue. In Krakow, business meetings with more than 50 participants rose 14.9% in 2025, while attendance fell 6%. The sector also faces a shortage of venues that combine large accommodation capacity, multiple meeting rooms, networking space and reliable transport access for major events.
