Microsoft outage affects various sectors

The global Microsoft outage on Friday did not impact critical infrastructure in Poland, government officials confirmed. The disruption, which affected Microsoft Azure and CrowdStrike's antivirus update, caused delays in various industries, including aviation. Despite global issues, Polish airports operated with minimal disruptions, although delays were reported. Prime Minister Donald Tusk assured that the situation is under control and does not threaten national security. Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized that Poland's critical infrastructure remains secure. Microsoft and CrowdStrike are addressing the issues, with fixes underway. Internationally, around 1,390 flights were canceled due to the outage, predominantly affecting the U.S. and Europe.
