Around December 13, Poland is expected to receive PLN 40 billion from the National Recovery Plan (KPO), as announced by Deputy Minister of Finance, Paweł Karbownik, on social media. He noted that final procedures are underway.
According to Karbownik, Poland's payment request from the KPO has been positively reviewed by the EU's Economic and Financial Committee (EFC). The funds are anticipated to be disbursed around December 13.
Earlier, on November 12, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, head of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, stated that the European Commission had preliminarily approved Poland's second and third payment requests from the KPO, totaling PLN 40 billion.
