Min Fin: the foundation of the Polish economy awaits reconstruction

Poland’s strong stock market performance despite geopolitical instability signals the recovery of the national capital market, said Finance Minister Andrzej Domański. This will create a solid foundation for financing investments.
Global markets remain volatile, with U.S. policies shaping capital flows. However, Poland’s Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW) has shown resilience, with daily turnover reaching a record PLN 2 billion. Major IPOs, including Żabka and Diagnostyka, reflect growing investor confidence.
Domański emphasized the role of investments in driving Poland’s 2025 growth, largely financed through the EU’s Recovery Plan (KPO). He also highlighted efforts to simplify and deregulate European capital markets, aiming to make EU exchanges more competitive with Wall Street.
