Min of Digitization: our goal is 20 million Poles with e-identity by 2035
As part of the "Poland's Digitalization Strategy," the Ministry of Digitization aims for 20 million Poles to use digital identities by 2035 and to eliminate paper from government offices. Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski announced plans to implement a European digital identity wallet, making digital services widely accessible through the mObywatel app.
The strategy includes fully implementing electronic deliveries and introducing e-payments for all e-services, particularly in local governments. Gawkowski emphasized that the goal is to automate citizen services, allowing individuals to access various services through their devices without repeatedly providing the same information, streamlining interactions with government systems.
