The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration (MSWiA) has allocated nearly PLN 950 million in aid for flood victims, announced Minister Tomasz Siemoniak. This funding will support various forms of assistance, including allowances for 62,000 families, resources for entrepreneurs, and funds for cleanup efforts. Siemoniak confirmed that the ministry is in the process of distributing these allowances.
Flood-affected families in regions such as Opole, Lower Silesia, and Lubusz, impacted by severe flooding in mid-September, are entitled to PLN 10,000 in aid and additional support for home repairs or reconstruction, ranging from PLN 100,000 to PLN 200,000. For home repairs, approval from a building inspector is required. The minister emphasized the urgency in processing these requests.
