Mostostal Kraków considering investing in capacity expansion for PLN 25-30 mln
Mostostal Kraków, part of the Budimex Group, is considering an investment of PLN 25–30 million to expand its plant in Kraków in order to meet U.S. requirements for participation in nuclear energy supply chains. According to CEO Jacek Lech, the project could enable the company to permanently position itself as a supplier for nuclear power developments not only in Poland but across Central and Eastern Europe. A decision may be made soon. The company expects its contract backlog at the end of 2025 to exceed both the current year’s plan and the PLN 711 million recorded in 2024, noting that it currently has around PLN 1 billion in pending contracts.
Approximately 50% of its revenue comes from foreign markets, primarily Germany, where it anticipates an economic rebound.
