MPC keeps interest rates unchanged, in line with expectations
The Monetary Policy Council (MPC) kept interest rates unchanged, which means that the main reference rate is 0.1 percent, the central bank said. There was no press conference after the meeting, only a statement was published.
The lombard rate is 0.50 percent since May 29, the deposit rate is 0.0 percent, the rediscount rate is 0.11 percent, and the discount rate is 0.12 percent on an annual basis, according to the release.
The MPC cut interest rates three times this year - by 1.4 percentage points in total in the case of the main reference rate.
