MPiT expects exports to increase by 4% in 2019

Analysts of the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology expect export growth in 2019 by about 4 percent up to €230 billion, according to a recent study.

“With the deterioration of the external environment, including global exchange, we expect 2019 to bring some slowdown in our commodity turnover with foreign countries. Polish companies, often acting as subcontractors, will have to adapt to the decreasing scale of production of final producers,” reads.

Ministry expects an increase in imports of goods by 5 percent to €237.5 billion. (PAP
