Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk (MRPIPS) is advocating for a ban on employing foreigners under civil contracts in Poland, which has sparked concern among employers. A proposed law aims to regulate the employment of foreign workers, prohibiting civil contracts for those requiring work permits. The Ministry of Family and Social Policy argues this is necessary to protect Polish workers from unfair competition and to safeguard vulnerable immigrants.

Labor unions support this move, citing increasing misuse of civil contracts. However, employers view the ban as discriminatory and fear it could push workers into the gray market. They emphasize the need for civil contracts in certain sectors, like care-giving and construction, to meet industry demands.
