Namysłów open to cooperation and investment support for Namysłów Brewery

The Namysłów municipal authorities are in ongoing contact with Grupa Żywiec following its decision to end production at the Namysłów Brewery in early 2026 due to declining beer demand and rising costs. While the municipality will not purchase the brewery’s assets, it is open to supporting potential investors interested in continuing brewing operations, offering administrative and investment assistance to help preserve jobs and the town’s brewing tradition. Grupa Żywiec, owned by Heineken N.V., is already in advanced talks with investors regarding the sale of the site, which employs 88 workers.
The company will continue brewing its brands at other facilities and has promised severance packages and support for affected employees.
