NASK Institute announces tender for purchase of 16,000 AI labs for schools

Poland’s NASK institute has launched tenders to supply 12,000 artificial intelligence (AI) labs and nearly 4,400 STEM labs to primary and secondary schools by the 2025/2026 school year. The AI lab order (PLN 1.86 billion) includes 16 laptops, AI service units, WiFi access points, charging cabinets, UPS systems, 75-inch interactive monitors, HD cameras, and software. The STEM lab order (PLN 533 million) covers design/prototyping, robotics, and science labs with equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, tablets, and microscopes.
Schools will receive only one lab, chosen by the Ministry of Education. The total budget is nearly PLN 2.4 billion, financed from Poland’s Recovery and Resilience Plan, with contracts awarded solely on price.
