NASK launches first supercomputer for AI calculations
Poland has launched its first AI supercomputer at NASK, the Ministry of Digital Affairs announced. The PLN 30 million investment aims to strengthen the country’s capacity for research, development of proprietary tools, and technologies tailored to public and governmental needs.
The system will support tasks such as training AI models, analyzing large datasets, testing new solutions, and improving cybersecurity. It will also enable work on content analysis tools, biometrics, anomaly detection in network traffic, and secure AI systems handling vast amounts of data with high precision.
Officials emphasized that the project supports the growth of Poland’s AI ecosystem and helps bridge research with practical innovation in public administration.
