Poland's gross foreign debt increased in the second quarter of 2024, reaching €406.44 billion, up from €400.32 billion in the first quarter after a revision from €400.21 billion. The National Bank of Poland (NBP) released these figures, indicating a rise in government sector debt to €117.68 billion, compared to €113.24 billion previously.
Additionally, debt in other sectors grew to €83.18 billion, up from €80.79 billion. These statistics reflect a broader trend of increasing foreign debt within the country.
