NCBR announces call for digital and deep tech technologies with budget of PLN 300 mln
Poland’s National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) has launched two new calls under the EU’s STEP initiative, allocating PLN 300 million for R&D projects in digital and deep technologies. Funded through the European Funds for a Modern Economy program, the grants support breakthrough innovations with strong economic potential or projects reducing the EU’s strategic dependencies.
Eligible applicants include companies and consortia operating in areas such as advanced semiconductors, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, advanced connectivity, robotics, and autonomous systems. The funding is divided equally between two tracks: one for market-ready breakthrough solutions and another for projects strengthening EU technological sovereignty. STEP aims to enhance Europe’s critical technologies, value chains, and long-term economic security.
