The Polish economy is not threatened by recession in 2023, and gross domestic product data for the third quarter are moderately good, MPC member Henryk Wnorowski said.
“The slowdown has begun, but it seems that this is not one of the worst scenarios,” he said. “Of course, in 2023 there will be even lower growth, but at the moment we are not in danger of recession”.
The Central Statistical Office reported that GDP increased by 3.6% annually in the third quarter versus an increase of 5.8% in the previous quarter.
